We have to admit it: Kim Kardashian-West has the Midas touch when it comes to business. Think: Her previous\u00a0Kim Kardashian fragrance line. Then the Kim K. Kimojis. She\u2019s dappled with mobile app game, Kim Kardashian Hollywood, where people can pretend to be famous \u2013\u00a0which, by the way, is highly addictive. Also, her make-up line raked in an estimated $14.4-million in three\u00a0hours before selling out.<\/p>\n

Now it\u2019s her newest fragrance line, launched under her own brand\u00a0KKW Fragrance,\u00a0that broke the internet by netting $10-million within the first 24 hours. She didn\u2019t use print ad campaigns or TV commercials, or even offer samples, scented tear-outs or in-store spritzers for shoppers to get a whiff. But is it worth the hype?<\/p>\n

The three KKW Fragrances, Crystal Gardenia, Crystal Gardenia Oud and Crystal Gardenia Citrus, are shaped like giant quartz crystals. Why? The crystal theme was\u00a0inspired by the healing crystals that helped her woosa<\/em> after that Paris robbery ordeal last year.<\/p>\n

How do they smell? Well obvsies we don\u2019t have them yet at WH headquarters, but, according to her site, each crystal vial contains a floral base of gardenia, with varying\u00a0top notes: water lily for the first, a sparkling citrus for the second and a light spicy bergamot note for the third.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re anything like us and desperate to try it, sorry: you\u2019re going to have to wait\u00a0along with the rest of the world for her next batch. Judging by sales, the gorgeous packaging and the captivating idea of gardenia as a base note\u2026 yes it is worth the hype.\u00a0Sigggggh<\/em>.
