I don’t know about you, but with the current lockdown, I’ve had a lot more time on my hands. This has meant I’ve been able to do things I wouldn’t usually have the chance to do, like bake bread (I failed miserably at that), dye my hair a fun colour (purple is fun, right?) and perhaps best of all, finally master the make-up looks I’ve been dreaming about.
Given that I now had ample time to get ready in the morning (and no one would be seeing if I looked like a clown), I set myself the challenge of taking my eye looks up a notch.

Eyeliner is definitely one of my staples, but I’ve grown tired of the good ol’ cat-eye. Enter the graphic liner, a new bold way of doing your make-up. Not just restricted to the eyelid, graphic liner can be applied anywhere around the eye, and you can make it as simple or as complex as you want. You ready?
Graphic Eyeliner Look #1
Inspired by the models of the Sixties, this was my simplest look yet. Taking a colour eyeliner (I used NYX Epic Wear Liner in yellow), draw a thick line along your brow bone, then finish off with some flower stickers and you’re done!

Graphic Eyeliner Look #2

Inspired by a runway look from legendary make-up artist Pat McGrath, this look is a great introduction to graphic liner. All you need is a black liquid liner, a few rhinestones and a steady hand. Pro tip: If you find your hands are a bit shaky when applying eyeliner, prop your elbow onto a firm surface or against your body to help stabilise your hands.

Graphic Eyeliner Look #3
This look involves a few geometric shapes around the eye. Using two different colour eyeliners, first draw a rectangle from the inner corner to the outer corner of your eye. Add a triangle across the brow, then a smaller square in the inner corner of the eye. Boom. Done.
